To enhance the organization's operational efficiency, collaborating with the supervisor to ensure end-to-end business processes is crucial. An opportunity has arisen with an international company that owns a warehouse in Venlo. We are currently seeking a warehouse team leader for the day shift.

As the team leader, you will provide support to warehouse employees in their daily operations, and help overcome any challenges that arise.

Working with Intercompany Order Management and the Transportation Team, you will report to the supervisor and keep them up-to-date on progress. Collaborating with the Information Services (IS) Team to enhance system stability will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for dividing tasks within the export team and managing the flow of export shipments.

In case of employee absences, you will be responsible for contacting the employment agency. As a warehouse coordinator, you will lead the team jointly with other coordinators.

Function requirements

The team is responsible for the efficient and effective processing, packaging, and storage of supplies. As a member of our team, you will be auditing goods received into our warehouse and overseeing the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials. You will also be responsible for coordinating schedules for shipping and receiving materials, ensuring the effectiveness of operating procedures, and maximizing space utilization.

We value leadership skills and teamwork, and we are seeking someone who has an MBO degree or higher or equivalent. Fluency in English is a must, and we are looking for someone who is stress-resistant, flexible, and able to collaborate with other departments. If you have good knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP Oracle 11, that is an advantage, but it's not a requirement. Our team will provide training and support to ensure your success in this role.
