Product Engineer

What are you going to do?

We are looking for a Junior Engineer who can start the journey in the Belden engineering department to become a subject matter expert responsible for one or more of the portfolios Belden designs, produces, and sells in the EMEA market. As a Junior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to the development of innovative projects. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience who are eager to learn and grow in a modern engineering environment.

- You will work closely together with senior engineers to design and develop new products, systems or solutions
- You will collect data, make technical drawings, specifications and reports
- You participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve existing products or processes
- You assist in troubleshooting and resolve technical issues that may arise during the development or production phase while considering the standards and regulations that are applicable
- You will collaborate with different departments like product management, production and supply chain but also provide support to the sales team
- You will support the implementation and maintenance of engineering processes and standards

An Academic or Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Advanced or upper-intermediate knowledge of the English language is required
- Advanced or upper-intermediate knowledge of the Dutch language could be beneficial
- Skilled in working flexibly, both in a team and independently
- Willingness to take the initiative and think proactively
- Enthusiasm about working in a production environment
- Ability to work in Venlo, the Netherlands, with the knowledge that travelling will be limited
