Are you looking for a nice job as a Coordinator fulfilment and Production in a logistics environment to start your career with? We now have a nice starting position at the Amway in Venlo. From the central warehouse and distribution center, in collaboration with a third party logistics partner, they distribute a wide range of products to 25 European countries.
In this position you are responsible for -on time, cost efficient, in alignment with quality targets – production (VAL) execution, including (over-)labelling, kitting and rework activities for (mainly) the Europe/Russia region. You will work in a team of 10 colleagues and in this role you coordinate and monitor the execution of the VAL activities by the 3PL logistics partner on site.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure internal targets (KPI’s / SLA’s) are met and end-customer satisfaction guaranteed;
- Planning rework activities and coordinate all VAL activities (fe. kitting, labelling, etc.);
- Monitor the KPIs and SLAs related to the operational processes and initiate corrective actions if there are differences versus the agreed KPIs/SLAs;
- Prepare monthly reports. Pro-actively take action based on these reports;
- Ensure logistics process is guaranteed, needs provided, processes are followed, questions addressed and all needed activities done to allow correct and timely production in accordance to the expected quality and costs;
- Monitor, identify and initiate action to allow most productive (way of) equipment and components to be utilized. Act as knowledge-hub in regard to packaging;
- Act on constraints, quality improvements and cost reduction opportunities topics to ensure Continuous Improvement Culture and ensure alignment to customer requirement within budget/targets;
- Pro-actively inform customer when expectation is not met;
- Review and act upon new, in-/external, initiatives/products or changes involving logistics processes and/or systems;
- Act on and/or lead initiatives/changes to ensure lowest possible overall cost/constrain while delivering on internal/external customer expectation/experience.
Function requirements
- For this position we are looking for a enthusiastic candidate with preferably a logistics education on MBO (with some experience)
- Or you are recently graduated on a HBO-education;
- In your work you are very accurate, process minded;
- You are a very nice teamplayer with a hands-on mentality.
